A treasured tradition for more than 36 years, the Golden Fine Arts Festival is a distinguished juried art show set in the vibrant heart of historic downtown Golden, Colorado. Ideally situated just 20 minutes west of Metro Denver, this free, two-day celebration welcomes thousands of visitors each year to experience exceptional artwork, live entertainment, beer and wine gardens, and a variety of local food vendors. Steeped in community pride and backed by a long-standing reputation for excellence, the festival features just over 100 carefully curated artist booths. Artists are selected through a competitive jury process led by art professionals, ensuring a dynamic and diverse showcase. More than half of participating artists traditionally travel from outside Colorado, joining the many talented Colorado-based artists who return year after year. Cash awards are presented to 1st and 2nd place winners in nine categories, along with Best of Show and Best of Colorado honors. Presented by the Golden Chamber of Commerce, the Golden Fine Arts Festival is beloved for its warm, small-town hospitality and thoughtful attention to both artists and patrons alike.
