Organizer's Promotional Message
This long-running Festival is an outdoor, juried fine arts and crafts show located in beautiful resort community of Ketchum & Sun Valley, in south-central Idaho. Since coming back from a covid cancellation in 2020, the Sun Valley Arts & Crafts Festival has seen gross sales growth in all years except 2024. The 57th annual edition of the Festival in 2026 will be held in Atkinson Park once again, a beautiful, grassy community park in the middle of Ketchum. The event dates are August 14-16, 2026 with artist load-in on August 13. It will include 120 professional artists invited through a jury process, food vendors, a picnic area with live music, and a children's activity area. More double booths will be available in 2026, with single booths also available per previous norms. No commercial agents are allowed, and reprints are limited. See official rules. The event typically draws about 6,000 patrons over the three-day weekend. The Ketchum/Sun Valley area is a hugely popular tourist destination in both the winter and summer, with tons of outdoor activities and cultural events in town.

The Ketchum/Sun Valley area is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts, and is brimming with culture and nightlife. Go fly fishing on the world-famous Silver Creek, the Big Wood River, or the Big Lost River, learn about the latest art exhibitions at the Sun Valley Museum of Art, hike in the Sawtooth Mountains, water ski on Redfish or Alturas Lakes, bike on 400 miles of the best single-tracks in the U.S., attend an outdoor concert at the Sun Valley Music Festival, and of course visit the Sun Valley Arts & Crafts Festival.

In 2013 the City of Ketchum was ranked #3 in America’s Top 12 Small-Town Art Places. It is home to a well-educated, sophisticated community who has chosen to live in this mountain resort town. In 2020 and 2021, the population swelled due to Covid transplants, further enriching the arts community here. Each summer Ketchum’s population expands to accommodate a large number of summer tourists escaping the heat and bustle of the cities, and second home owners who come for the season.
